Coming from a small town in Russia, overrun by the Mafia, Sergey was forced to provide for his family after the sudden death of his father. Following his first encounter with a personal computer on a school trip, he knew just how he would ensure his family was taken care of. His entrepreneurial spirit allowed him to create his first internet café at age 18, but a threatening encounter with the Mafia prompted his need for change.
With his business now growing in Ottawa, Canada, he still experiences threats from the Russian Mafia, but now in the form of cyber attacks such as ransomware, data theft and identity theft. His book is the culmination of lessons learned, written so that you can rest easy at night.
